More photos from the Carbonetti workshop

The workshop was really wonderful.  Jeanne Carbonetti is a fabulous teacher.  We all learned a lot from her lectures, demonstrations and one-on-one consultations.
Jeanne taught figure painting techniques on the last day of class

I was glad to learn how to use washes to help direct/correct my compositions.  I also loved the strong, bold Holbein watercolor pallette she had us use.  It was a stretch for me not having my favorite colors to fall back on, but the pallette we used was brilliant.  Here are some photos of works in progress...
A cropped version of Shelley Odendahl's wonderful landscape from day 2 of class.

My birch trees using Jeanne Carbonetti's landscape techniques

Terri Hendricks' threshold painting from the first day of class.
Cindy Buck's painting from the first day of class.

If anyone else who took the class would like to share a photo of their work, please send me a jpg file and I'll upload it too.
Shelley Odendahl's landscape Jeanne said this one just POPS out at the viewer and it does!

Thanks to Shelley for sending her landscapes, they were wonderful!

This activity is made possible in part by a grant from the East Central Regional Development Commission and the East Central Arts Council with funds provided by the Minnesota State Legislature.
